Blended from 75% Carignan Noir (100 years old vines), 10% Grenache Noir and 15% Syrah. Half of the wine was aged in oak casks (new and one-year old) for a period of 9 months. Deep ruby in colour with a nose of the hare’s ear plant, red preserves, cinnamon, black currant and cocoa. In the mouth there is a smooth spicy ripe fruit attack, with a very long finish. Decant and serve at 18°C with lamb, beef or poultry and soft cheese. Good to cellar for up to 4 years.
