All the grapes are hand picked with strict selection of the finest grapes. The wine was aged for 12 months in American and French oak. This has a beautiful complex nose of ripe fruit, cherry, blackcurrant, with notes of garrigue, bay leaf, thyme and coconut. Very well constructed, rich, with lovely balance between the wood and fruit. A long deep finish of fruit, garrigue and coconut. Simply stunning. Decant for 1 hour and serve at 18 degrees, with stews, lamb, beef and hare, matured soft cheese, and chocolate desserts. Good to cellar for 2-3 years.
